It's easy to let Monday's boggle you down, especially after a nice and relaxing weekend. We give into the "case of the Monday's", and spend most of the day wishing it would end. We forget to really appreciate each and every day. What we do and think each day is what will manifest in the future. It's a brand new day and new week; this day will never happen again in history! Make every minute count, start fresh, think positive, and do good deeds.
Get out a notepad & write down 3 things you'd like to do more of. Ask yourself,
Can I make time for any of these things this week?
If the answer is yes, then get out your calender & plug it in. If the answer is no, think about when would be the next time you could fit it in. Take that list & put it somewhere that will remind you:)
Earlier this year, I received an email from a friend asking if I'd like to perform in a pole dance competition. Having only been pole dancing for two years, inconsistently, and teaching for one of those years, I had every intention of politely replying: "are you nuts?". But on a second thought, what a great opportunity to meet others sharing the same passion for the sport! And how exciting to be able to dance on a professionally rigged stage in front of a large audience! Quickly, that second thought turned into delusion and, almost instantly, I signed up to perform not one, but two routines in two distinct divisions. ....
